- The video released features behind-the-scenes clips from previous engagements and overseas tours
- At start, Duke joked: 'We need to be careful what we say now because these guys are filming everything'
- In a candid outtake from their St Patrick's Day video, Kate told Prince William: 'You don't have to roll your Rs'
Kate Middleton and Prince William have announced they are launching a YouTube channel by sharing a slick promotional video.
The Duke, 38, and Duchess of Cambridge, 39, posted a 25-second clip on their social media channels today called: 'Welcome to our official YouTube channel!'
At the start of the video, the couple could be seen sitting on their sofa at their Norfolk home of Anmer Hall, with the Duke turning to Duchess and joking: 'By the way you need to be careful what you say now because these guys are filming everything.'
The flashy video then goes on to show various clips from engagements over the years, including Kate launching her Early Years survey last February and the couple visiting Pakistan in October 2019.
It also reveals candid moments from the couple, including a behind-the-scenes outtakes from this year's St Patrick's Day video in which Kate tells William: 'You don't need to roll your Rs.'
The launch comes days after royal experts praised the couple for sharing an 'enchanting' family video of themselves outdoors with their three children for their tenth wedding anniversary.

Have the luck of the Irish like Kate in a green blazer from Zara
Each and every year, the Duchess of Cambridge always manages to outdo herself style-wise on St Patrick's Day.
She's a total pro when it comes to wearing green, and we've seen her in smart forest-coloured coats by Catherine Walker and Alexander McQueen in the past. But this year she went for a brighter shade.
Her apple green blazer is from none other than Zara, and we love the tweed texture and double breasted design. It looks much more expensive than £59.99, don't you think? It's currently sold out online, but no doubt it will be re-stocked so click (right) to copy Kate.
Or check out the similar blazers we've tracked down for you at the likes of Kate Spade and Boden - two of Kate's favourites!
We've even added a link to her gold shamrock necklace by Daniella Draper. She's wearing the matching earrings too!
Among the clips included in the couple's first YouTube video, which has quickly wracked up thousands of views online, are snippets from their overseas tours.
In another moment, Kate and William can be seen walking the red carpet at the BAFTAs in 2019, while a further series of clips shows the couple during their train tour of the UK last December.
Even the Queen makes a brief appearance in the couple's introductory video, after the couple included a clip of their 2019 visit to the Royal Horticultural Society's London show, where Kate gave Her Majesty a tour of her Chelsea Flower Show garden.
Royal fans hoping to catch a glimpse of Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three, were also treated to a brief clip of the family as they joined in the Clap for Carers effort last March during the first Covid-19 lockdown.
As well as candid moments from the last year, the couple also shared clips from their work before the Covid-19 pandemic

Before launching their own channel today, clips from Kate and Prince William's engagements were shared on the official Royal Family channel, which has over 800k subscribers.
Within moments of launching their own official account, the Duke and Duchess wracked up 16,000 followers.
While the introductory video is the couple's first upload on the channel, Kate and William's virtual engagements from over the last year are listed in a playlist called 'Engagements', while there are also playlists for Early Years, The Earthshot Prize, Duke and Duchess speeches.
The slick new video comes days after the couple released a 39-second clip of their family on the day of their 10th wedding anniversary today, showing them at their Norfolk residence Anmer Hall and on sand dunes at a nearby beach.
One royal expert said the video 'went straight to the heart of what has made the Cambridges a very successful family in terms of public image', while another said it shows 'how happy they are with their lives and in their roles'.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told MailOnline: 'This enchanting video to mark the Cambridges tenth anniversary was a delightful surprise. We expected the happy photographs.
'Both of them were superb portraits of a couple who are clearly blissfully happy, both with each other and in their roles, where they show to the world how far they are from being 'trapped'.
'The Duchess has done a good deal of valuable work on children's issues, particularly on those affecting young children. She has also talked about some of the problems of being a mother and has stressed how important the outdoors is.
'Mums up and down the country will identify with the simple joys of pottering with the kids on the beach, playing in the garden and in the countryside.

'This is symbolically significant too. In 1969, the riverside family barbecue where Prince Philip grilled sausages in the film The Royal Family, was considered one of the reasons it was thought to have gone too far, in revealing the informal lives of the royal family. Even today, it cannot be shown.
'The Cambridges are clearly signalling that the monarchy in the future will have a more informal style, which will suit changing times. William also knows that if the Queen wants a member of the royal family to visit one of the world's most troubled regions, he is the person to send for, as he performed this role expertly three years ago when he visited both Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
'In William and Catherine, we have the ideal couple to face the challenges which lie ahead for the monarchy and the photographs and video which celebrate their first decade of marriage show us how happy they are with their lives and in their roles.'
Sunday Times royal editor Roya Nikkhah told Sky News today: 'I think that's a really interesting release and I think it goes straight to the heart of what has made the Cambridges a very successful family in terms of public image.
Donning casual clothes, the Cambridges are seen sitting on hay bales around the campfire toasting marshmallows
'Because while they jealously and fiercely guard their privacy, what they're very good at doing is putting out just enough – photographs and now a video clip of private family time that makes the public feel that they are invested in them and they are getting to see a little bit of that behind the scenes magic.
'That video came with a message thanking the public for all their support over the last ten years, and I think what they're trying to do with that is to say "we understand you're hugely interested in us, in our lives, in our children. Thank you for respecting our privacy and supporting us, and here's a video giving you a little bit of an insight into what family life is like for the Cambridges".'
She went on to talk about the 'growing access' that the public is getting to the Cambridges, but added: 'What's always quite interesting is that it's controlled, and it's very much on their terms, and it's very often Kate that takes the photos, of course Chris Floyd took the ones that came out today.

The family dressed in cosy winter clothes and appeared to recycle the same outfits they wore for their Christmas 2020 card
In the sweet video, Kate Middleton could be seen chasing Prince Louis around the garden of their Anmer Hall residence
'We know that William and Kate are gradually taking on more work, they are stepping in taking on more responsibility with the Royal Family, supporting the Queen who's now 95, and we are seeing a lot more of them.
'Their role in public life and their role within the Royal Family is becoming more prominent, more important.'
At one point in the Cambridges' video, it shows the royal couple sharing a joke with their youngest son, Prince Louis, while at another the whole family are seen toasting marshmallows over a bonfire.
The family look happy in each other's company, with both the duke and duchess shown chasing, playing and holding hands with their children.
